the ‘70 Million Dollars Export Tower’

On December 5, in recognition of reaching the $70 million mark, global home appliance brand Wonbong RUHENS (CEO, Young-don Kim) received the Export Tower Award at the 54th Annual Trade Day ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and supervised by the Korea International Trade Association.

Wonbong was awarded the ‘50 Million Dollars Export Tower’ in 2014, and, after only three years, it has successfully succeeded in achieving 70 million dollars in exports. Wonbong has been exporting RUHENS purifiers to 60 countries throughout the, Middle East, Europe, Asia, amongst others with unrivaled technical skills tailored to each country.

The best seller of Wonbong is the  RUHENS slim direct purifier (WHP-2300)’ that actor Jo Jin-woong is advertising and was newly released in 2017. Also popular is the ‘RUHENS air purifier (WHA-300).’

‘RUHENS slim direct purifier (WHP-2300)’ is a direct water dispenser that has a direct cooling/heating system and a UV LED self-sterilizing feature. It is good for health, convenient to use and a unique slim shape compatible with high-end design.

‘RUHENS air purifier (WHA-300)’ has a 6-stage cleaning system which removes particles up to PM 1.0 such as ultrafine dust, and an ion generator which eliminates up to 99.9% of colon bacillus. It is essential for producing clean and healthy indoor air.

The growth in exports was also attributed to the big success of its key items such as the WHP-2300 and the WHA-300 in the global market. These items are expected to continue to be successful next year.
